Node Activation · Command Brief 003

Tennant is a node.
You own the node.
The demand signal layer is already live.

This is not a proposal. It is not a pitch. It is a standalone node activation on the LeadReadySite Enterprise Strategic Asset Network — a Tennant-brand surface that has been built, pushed live, and wired to restore the demand signal flow your SAP instance is still failing to deliver. The front-end heavy lifting is finished. Activation is the only step remaining.

Layer 01 · In Their Own Words

What has Tennant publicly stated about the ERP disruption?

Tennant has publicly disclosed, in earnings calls and SEC filings, that its North America ERP implementation introduced severe functionality issues, that the system was not providing correct demand signals to suppliers, and that manual purchase orders and manual oversight were required as a workaround. Those are the statements. The node answers every one of them.

Layer 02 · What's Being Sought

What is Tennant actually looking for?

Behind the earnings call language and the remediation budget, the shape is consistent: a standalone parallel operational layer that does not require waiting for SAP to be fixed, a signal restoration that runs independently, a path that stops the manual workaround bleed now, and operational ownership that does not add headcount. The node answers all four because it was built for them.

Tradition says: keep remediating SAP, keep running manual POs, wait until H1 2027, hope the next quarter is better. The node doesn't ask Tennant to abandon that path. It asks them to stop bleeding while they walk it.

Layer 03 · What Has Already Been Proven

What has already been built?

The Tennant node is built. It is live. It is standalone — no sub-nodes, no white-label hub. Tennant owns the node completely. The demand signal layer, the SAP parallel adapter, and the manual PO elimination engine are all in place. Activation is the only step remaining.

The Stack · 7 Systems

What systems power the Tennant node?

Seven systems power every Tennant node order: the OMS order hub, the Demand Signal Layer (the node's core function), the PIM product data, the Middleware event router, Salesforce Service Cloud for support cases, Iterable for customer messaging, and the SAP Parallel Adapter that bridges the node to Tennant's existing ERP. Every order touches every one of these systems, and every stage is auditable.

Layer 04 · The Value Model

What does the node produce for Tennant?

Tennant activates at the War Room tier — the top tier of the LeadReadySite Enterprise Strategic Asset Network. The value model is operational recovery, not per-node cost. Activation restores the demand signal chain, eliminates manual PO labor month by month, and stops the bleeding while SAP remediation continues on its own timeline.

Tennant Q4 2025 baseline · $20M+ projected 2026
Overtime · premium freight · manual PO labor
H1 2027 target — no commitment
Bleed Avoided
$10.8M
over 18 months · manual workaround eliminated
Activation$200K
Monthly operation$25K/mo
Total node cost (18mo)$650K
Net benefit$10.15M

How the bleed-avoided number is calculated

  • Manual workaround cost: Tennant's public filings describe ongoing manual oversight, manual purchase orders, overtime, and premium freight. This is the monthly operational cost of the SAP signal gap.
  • Months until recovery: H1 2027 target per Tennant's own disclosure. The node operates for the full wait window.
  • Bleed avoided = monthly workaround cost × months until recovery. This is cost that does not accrue when the node is running.
  • Node cost: $200K activation + $25K/month. Separate from Tennant's existing remediation budget — this does not compete with it.
  • Modeling assumptions, not commitments. Adjust the sliders to see your own scenario.
Layer 05 · The Invitation

What happens when Tennant activates?

Nothing has to happen. The network stays live either way. If Tennant activates, the node turns on — the front-end work is already done, the monthly places the company at the War Room tier, and the operational layer lights up: the demand signal chain restores first, manual PO elimination begins month one, the SAP parallel adapter engages, and the bleed stops accruing. This is self-contained. Tennant's activation restores Tennant's operations. If Tennant decides not to activate, no invoice is issued, no obligation is created, and the network continues to run. The activation is the decision. The network is already on.

  • Tennant activates. The node goes live on the Tennant brand surface — standalone, self-contained.
  • Day 1: Setup. Node configured to Tennant's operational parameters.
  • Day 2: Signal routing verified. Supplier-facing accuracy confirmed against live orders.
  • Day 3: Live. Demand signals flow correctly. Manual PO load begins its 12-month decline.
  • SAP remediation continues. Uncontested. Unbudgeted against. The node coexists — no rip-and-replace.
  • War Room tier activates. Quarterly executive sessions begin. The relationship formalizes.
